Troubleshooting

Sign-in issues

I cannot sign in

  • Confirm you are using the correct account for your invitation
  • Retry in an incognito/private window
  • Clear stale session cookies and try again

I see account-linking help

  • This means identity matching could not be completed automatically
  • Follow the account-linking instructions shown in-app

Dashboard/schedule issues

My schedule is empty

  • Verify your school has schedule entries for the current day
  • Verify your block assignments are filled in
  • Verify your profile is linked to the expected school

Lunch is missing

  • Open Edit Blocks & Lunch and choose a lunch block
  • Confirm the school schedule type supports lunch blocks

Friends issues

Find Friends shows no users

  • Verify there are other real student accounts in your school
  • Invitation-only placeholder accounts are not shown
  • Ask classmates to finish sign-in/onboarding steps

Profile photos are missing

  • The app falls back automatically when no Clerk photo exists
  • Refresh after users update their profile image

Notifications issues

Browser says notifications are blocked

  • Enable notifications in browser site settings
  • Reopen Notification Settings and retry enable flow

Support escalation

If issues persist, include:

  • Screenshot of the error
  • Approximate timestamp
  • Route/page where it happened
  • Student account email used for sign-in
